Premium Cork Bark Tubes, Large
Our show-grade, virgin cork bark tubes are a popular option for natural decorative backgrounds, hide areas, basking platforms, and grand centerpieces in your terrarium, and many other possibilities.
100% natural cork bark harvested from Portugal. Each piece is unique and some are slightly curved. Bean Farm cork bark tubes are durable, light weight, rot resistant, non-toxic, soft, and buoyant.
Large tubes are approximately 5" to 8" in diameter and 15" to 25" long. Our cork often comes with live moss or lichen, and each piece is beautifully unique.
If you have a certain size you want, email us at [email protected] or call 866-708-5882 and we can help.
- Simply wash the cork bark by scrubbing it with a brush and water.
- For less bulky pieces, you can disinfect cork bark by boiling it. When necessary, under adult supervision, you can boil the top half of a piece first in a very large pot, then flip the wood to boil the bottom half.
- For larger or bulkier pieces, you can use a freeze/heat method but keep in mind baking wood decor is more dangerous than the recommended methods.
- Always dry out the wood completely before proceeding to add it to custom backgrounds with silicone.
